Fair tax would do a whole lot of great things.
1. Clear up all the courts.
2. Keep people out of prison.
3. People would be able to keep what they have worked so hard for.
4. Everyone pays.
5. The government would more than likely Recieve more money , since all are paying in.
6. No more anxiety at tax time.
7. No more fear.
8. No more costly preparation.
And this is just a short list.

You are correct...The weapon found in the trunk of his vehicle was an unloaded shotgun...Not an AR as initially reported by the news media...The news media never brought to light the one or two individuals via video who were caught fleeing the scene through the woods surronding the school immediately after the shootings occurred...Rumors were these where under cover police officers..
Question: What were they doing in the woods at the same time the shooter was systematically guning down innocent school children...Tragedies like this will continue to happen now and again regardless of what kind of emotional charged guns bills are passed...Blaming responsible gun owners and their guns is a cop out of the real issue in that their are a lot of unstable persons in this country who occassionally go bezerk and kill people with weapons other than .223 Bush Masters...Using Hammers and clubs as an example!...Shoulld we ban em?

Right on, Ted. The IRS was created originally to be for a short period of time, but Congress and the White House never see a penny don't want to give back. The IRS has become a very expensive burden and an evil, and Obama now gives them $92 million in bonuses! For what? Just following his instructions I would venture to say. Why should they get our money when they are OUR EMPLOYEES and we should decide on salary, raises, and bonuses. So many of us have never gotten bonuses in our work careers and political and lazy and "know nothings" are getting a bonus! Outrageous! but just what an empty communist suit does.

This is nothing new Allen West flat out told the American people early on last year that the democrat party had at a minimum 80 communists in the House of Representatives, but everyone except FOX NEWS called him a racist, homophobe, yada, yada, yada. And Fox News only gave this claim a fleeting glance.

We have good men and women in both the House and Senate but the left smear them with lies and all manner of politics of personal destruction, so the low information voter turns out on "candy day" every four years to vote for people they do not know or even what the issues are. So the end result is we get people like piglosi, obaMAO, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, Schummer, Rangal et al.

I will say this once again, there should be at a minimum a civics test for all voters every two years. The voter rolls should be destroyed and a new set started. Once an election is over you would have 18 months to register for the next election at that time you would take your civics test. Those over 65 could be exempted from this requirement, those with a true physical handicap could receive their tests via mail, but all others would have to go to their local DMV or whatever State office is responsible for voter registration. That test should ask simple questions for example:
Name your State governor
Name your US Representative
Name both of your US Senators
Anything less than 100% accuracy would be considered a failure and no ability to vote in the next election shall be issued. From there these tests could become progressively harder with the hardest tests for the newest voters those who are registering for the first time. Specifically 18 year olds. This would do two things first it would force the school systems to start teaching the Constitution again and it would also mandate civics classes. Am I the only one who remembers getting a grade every year in grade school and Jr High for Citizenship? I'm sure others here have ideas to improve upon and provide more workable solutions to this proposal.

What do you think ?? Can we do this??
